Remember the photo contest I won last year? Remember I won a new bike? Well I totally forgot they were supposed to send me coasters as well, so I emailed them and voila! They arrived - better late than never. I know a few of you wanted one so shoot me and email and I will get one to you.
Thanks again for voting for me! Here is a link to this years contest (with a shot of my coaster):

Today I donated to Barack Obama. I have never given to any political cause before in my life, but feel strongly now is the time. I hope many other Americans will feel the same way.
If you haven’t heard yet, Barack has opted out of public financing.

Hello!
My name is Josh Bergan and I am with a publishing company
in Belgrade, Montana - Wilderness Adventures Press. We
publish fly fishing, big game hunting and wingshooting
guide books, and we are currently working individual river
maps. We are doing the Muskegon River for a fly shop in
Michigan, but we need a photo for the cover. I was
wondering if we could have permission from you to use your
photo titled, ‘On the Muskegon River’. The ‘original’ size
available on Flickr would be a high resolution image, so we
just need your permission. We can offer you a photo credit
on the map, two complimentary copies of the finished map
with your photo on it, and a check for $25.Thanks very much!
Josh

According to the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the average home owner’s gas-powered lawn mower pumps out as much pollution per hour as 11 automobiles do. We suggest you try a reel mower or alternatives to grass instead. 1,300,000 — Estimate of how many gas-powered mowers there are in the US according to the Electric Power Research Institute.

Friday night Andrea and I grabbed some dinner after work and then chilled out at home and watched a movie. Some how I agreed to watch the movie “P.S. I Love You” - Yep you guessed it from the title, a movie about love and letters, ughhh. I managed to sit all the way through this movie, it got very difficult at the point where Hilary Swank does some soul searching and finally figures out she wants to be a shoe designer - could this BE any more of a chick flick.
Saturday I rode up to the Klunder’s cottage with Jeff, Kari and Tyson. Jeff and I helped Jim put in the docks and boats. 90% of the time we waited around for a command, the other 1% was actual labor (9% of the time we were just drinking). The cottage looked great! Jim had refinished a majority of the first floor due to some water damage this past winter. Andrea came up a bit later and we had ’smores over the fire.
Sunday we met up with my family at Boatwerks in Holland for Father’s Day. My sister, Janene, got a new mini clubman. (maybe i should buy some stock in mini) After dinner I finished some side work and finally launched the site: http://www.mexicantraveladventures.com
